Welcome to another addition of Flatterday Saturday!! This is Kelly here and I am interrupting the weekly introductions of our Design Team to introduce you to our Newest Guest Designer who will be joining us for the next three months!! Heather Rolin did a fabulous job as our first Guest and her shoes are big ones to fill, but we know that you will approve of our next Guest too!
The Ippity Design Team is proud to welcome
Stephanie Muzzulin
as our Spring 2010 Release Guest Designer!!
I am so happy to be the one to have the pleasure of announcing Stephanie's term with us. Not only have I always been inspired by her fabulous work, but I also came to respect and admire her after serving on another DT with her in the past. But even more than that, I call Stephanie my dear friend. We have stayed in touch over the months and are always there for each other as cyber friends. I truly hope someday that I will get to meet her in person. She is a very sweet and fun loving gal!! I know that you will agree with me as you get to know her over the next few months!!
So Stephanie... welcome to the team,
we are so excited to be working with you!!
To help you get to know her a little better, we decided to ask Stephanie a few questions and this is what she had to say...
General Questions
· Tell us a little about yourself. {Family, location, background, job, kids, etc.}
I am a SAHM of two beautiful children Mackenzie 6 and Codey James 4. I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband Seamus for 9 years. I am originally from Nebraska and moved to Connecticut at a very young age and that is where I eventually met my husband and we settled down in a very small town in the Northwest corner of Connecticut.
Stamping Questions
· How did you first get involved in stamping?
I first got involved in stamping when I received a scrapbook as a baby shower gift. I did scrapbooking for awhile and then I was asked to do some baby shower invites for a friend and I was hooked on card making after that.
· What is your stamping style?
I not sure if I have one style I like to change things up sometimes and it really just depends on my mood. One day I could do CAS and the next I could add a ton of layers or paper piece an image to death.
· Tell us about your creative process
My creative process is a lot of blogging and just getting a ton of inspiration from other people. I also love the card making magazines. It also just depends on what I have to work with I usually pick my stamp I want to work with and then match the products to go with my image.
· What is your favorite {ippity} stamp set and why?
Honestly I don’t think I could pick just one they are all awesome and so fun to work with.
· How often do you stamp?
If I can get away with it I have to make at least one card everyday if not more.
· How long does it take you to make a project you are happy with?
If I already have an idea of what to make I would say about 20-30 minutes but it also depends on how much detail I put into a card.
· What does your craft room look like? {Messy, clean, etc.}
I am really not that organized but I do like to have a clean workspace when I start a project. I always clean up before I start something new.
· What is your biggest paper crafting challenge?
My biggest challenge I would have to say is time there is never enough hours in the day.
Just for FUN Questions
· What song best describes you?
I don’t think I could really pick one specific song that describes me. My favorite music though is country.
· If you were stranded on a desert island what are the three things you would bring?
Of course my Family and I would have to bring some crafting supplies that is how hooked I am on hobby it really is hard for me to go a couple days with out making something.
· What is your favorite quote?
Oh this is a hard one there are so many great quotes out there. Besides my Family I cherish my friends and I have made so many through this hobby it’s just amazing how it brings people together so I will share my favorite friends Quote.
“Friends are the most important ingredient in this recipe of life.”
· What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
Nothing really good!!!
· If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
I would love to be a super mom where I could have a spotless house, Gourmet meals and be able to do all my crafting!!!
· If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
Wow another hard question how about a book that’s already out there...
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff.
I tend to have a bad habit of worrying too much over the small things in life.
· What would your dream vacation be?
I would just love to be able to go to Disney one of these days with my family. It would be such a fun experience for them.
I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite Stephanie creations using Ippity from the SCS Gallery.
This cheery set uses Just Wanted to Say
And this one uses the flower and sentiment from Because of You
And this fun one uses the cow and sentiment from Simply Home!! Isn't it just adorable?
