Adding a Little Dimension Tutorial

Hey Hip Hoppers!!
Maria today...and I get to bring you this weeks tutorial.
Of course I had to use one of the NEW releases!!

Have you ordered yours yet???

The NEW set Now & Always has these giant flowers that are perfect for layering and adding dimension. I'm gonna show you just how easy it is to make these flowers and some different ways you can use them! What you need:
Now & Always {ippity} stamp set
NEW October Afternoon Paper Pack
Hybrid Ink in Black
Foam Tape
Scissors
Buttons
1. Stamp the flower three times on designer paper. You could also color them with markers or colored pencils or stamp them on colored cardstock and dry emboss them, just make sure you stamp it once for each layer. The possibilities are endless!!2. Cut out the three different layers of flowers. I prefer to cut the largest layer outside of the stamped line, leaving a litle edge around the flower. I think it is easier than trying to stay on the line like I did for the smaller two.3. Add foam adhesive to the back of the two smaller flowers as shown. For cards and scrapbook layouts I don't use as much foam tape but for other projects I use more because I like to make sure that they are sturdy.
4. Adhere flower layers together for a completed flower. The petals do vary a little so I like to match them up before I take the adhesive backing off.
I'm planning to use this flower on chipboard letter for my daughters room. I picked them up at Hobby Lobby for just over a dollar a piece. I'm going to cover the letters with designer paper and embellish them for her walls. Here is a basic idea with the raw chipboard.
I also used these flowers on my Monday H{ippity} Hop cardand on this frame for my house!I've had this old frame sitting around just waiting to be used and once I saw these October Afternoon papers I knew I needed to alter it. My hubby made this frame for me with wood from our old fence. Poor him...I made him move all this wood with us to our new house. Good thing I did...I need more frames:) You could use any frame to make your own. If you can't find one that fits you style a little paint could transform one.
