Maria's Sunday Faves

Hey everyone!! I'm so excited to bring you today's post. Sunday faves is so much fun. I love digging through the {ippity} gallery...you all are SO CREATIVE.

I must admit, while I love ALL of the {ippity} stamps, they don't all love me :) I have a hard time trying to come up with something I love with some of the stamps, and dare I say (some still haven't seen ink because I'm so unsure what to do with them)

Well this first card is a PERFECT example. I haven't inked the cow image from {Simply Home} because I didn't know what colors to pair with it. The wonderful {Tenia Nelson} made this fabulous card by sticking with the basic colors. It was seriously love at first sight. Casing it for sure :) The next card comes from {Kim Dellow} and happens to be another stamp that stumps me. The image is also from {Simply Home}. I LOVE the simple layout and the sentiment is PERFECT for all those last minute valentines.

{Jen Marie} never ceases to amaze me and this card using {Alphabettically Adorable} is just that, ADORABLE!! The bright colors just pop against the kraft background!

One of my favorite things about {ippity} stamps is that they are so versatile. This card from {Lynn Miller} uses a stamp from {Kissmas and Mistletoe} and she made this cheery birthday card. I love the blue that she chose, it reminds me of a hand picked group of wildflowers!

{Savannah O'Gwynn} is a girl after my own heart :) This happens to be my favorite color combo of ALL TIME!!! I love how every color is bold enough to stand on it's own, yet compliments the other so well! I just LOVE IT!! The stamps she used are from {Life's Little Moment's}.

The design team decided we also wanted to feature one of our fellow team members on Sunday's too. I work with the most AMAZING group of women and they have some seriously awesome cards in the gallery too!

This week I picked this stunner from {Eva}. I LOVE all the bold colors and the black stitching is such a wonderful compliment. This girls just oozes creativity!

Well, that's it for me. I'm gonna hang out today and eat too much and watch the super bowl!! See you all tomorrow for another edition of the H{ippity} Hop.

H{ippity} Hop!!!

Are you ready for the next Hip Hop????  I sure am!!!  This is Eva, and I can't wait to do the hop and see what everyone made this week!!!!  I have been so impressed with all the gorgeous {ippity} creations!!!! It's Christmas week and I am so excited about hosting a new challenge on the {ippity} forum, as it will be just perfect for those last minute gifts.  I am in such a Christmas mood, as I am typing this, I am listening to beautiful Christmas music.  I made English Toffee today, which turned out pretty good.  Sure hope you are all having a lovely time of the year, too.

Anyway, by now you may wonder about this week's challenge, so here it is.

Eva's Sunday Faves

It's Sunday again, and it's my turn to pick my favorite {ippity} projects from this week's gallery....yaaaaaaa...I just love looking all the pretty cards, seeing all the beautiful inspiration, but it's so hard to pick just a few.  Anyway, here are a few I choose to highlight.

My first card is using the Simply Home set created by Heather.  I love the colors and the vintage, rich look of this card!

My second card is using the Because of You and Just Wanted to Say and created by Michelle.  I love how cheerful these cards are, they made my smile, when I first saw them!

And take a look at this creative card using the Devoted set by Lisa.  I have to say I so love the design of this card.  In fact I definitely have to try something like this....hehehe....

This week, since we are all into making Christmas cards, I thought I would pick two cards that used the Kissmas and Mistletoe set.  It's only fair, as there are quite a few beautiful cards in the gallery with that set.

My first pick is by Karen.  Take a look at this gorgeous card....the design is incredible, and look at all the snow she has on this card, not to mention how she made her frame with Spellbinders. 

My second choice is by Stephanie.  I really love the traditional Christmas colors, the beautiful embossing and just the overall design.

That's how you do it....

Let's kick off our "That's how you do it" Thursdays with a fun share. This is Eva typing away....  Our DT decided on Thursdays we would show you a few ways you can use our {ippity} stamps. I don't know about you, but I can always use some ideas to try out!

With the holidays just around the corner I thought it would be perfect time to talk about making gifts using {ippity} stamps.  You still have time to make them, after all today is just the 10th!  So how about making some pretty tile coasters????  Here is what I did.

I used the Simply Home stamp set for creating these tiles.  And you can totally dress them up with more {ippity} stamps to get them ready for gift giving.  For the tag I used the Kissmas and Mistletoe set.  Don't they just look so pretty???

So, now you may ask, how I made these pretty tiles?  I have made these tiles many years ago using different stamps of course, and since I don't like to reinvent the wheel, I will just share the link to a great tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, so you can make them as well.

Tile Coaster tutorial

Couple of tips I can share with you ,that I have learned about and thought would be worth mentioning.  One, I used Stazon and Pallette inkpads on these tiles, and the other thing is to assure that the image won't smudge I sprayed them with Krylon Acrylic Sealant, but I heard you can bake them, too.

Maria's Sunday Faves

I just love Sunday's! Around my house Sundays are full of lots of good food (mexican food this week), football and just hanging out with the family. I love curling up on a cold day to cheer on my favorite football team...I'm a Broncos's fan myself. But I'm sure you didn't come here to talk sports. ;)

This week it's my turn to pick the Sunday faves and I'm super excited to show you what I found! I had a fabulous time browing the SCS gallery in search of some {ippity}. Just look at that ribbon!! This card by {Savannah} immediately caught my eye. I love the simple layout, the gorgeous paper and of course the sentiment from Just Wanted To Say.{Heather Rolin's} Christmas card is too cute! I love the scalloped edge and the way the dp strip down the middle is scalloped too. The embellishments on the snowman from Kissmas & Mistletoe are the perfect finishing touch. I love this clean and simple design from {Stepanie Zito} using Kissmas & Mistletoe. I love the accents on the mistletoe...and the zig zag stitching.
Isn't this card by {Katie Skiff} fabulous! She colored the tree from Straight from the Heart to match the My Minds Eye papers she used. I absolutely adore the pierced heart peeking out from behind the sentiment.

What's not to love about this little mitten from {Carolina Buchting}. I'm always in need of a cute gift card holder and this one using Kissmas and Mistletoe is just too adorable. Make sure you swing by her blog, she was generous enough to provide a pdf template :)

I don't make shaped cards near enough, but this one from {Michelle Woerner} makes me want to give it a try. I love the silver embellishments and the way she embossed the tree from Kissmas and Mistletoe. The crisp white and the soft color palette are the perfect compliment.

I love the way {Cindy Coutts} gave the adorable tree from Simply Home center stage. I also love how she stamped the sentiment in the different panels.

Woohoo!! Many of your {Ippity} Chicks have been receiving your shipments of stamps throughout this week and it is evident in the {Ippity} Gallery at SCS.  Be sure to take a moment and see what people are doing with these wonderful stamps!

This is Kelly today and I  have been having so much fun perusing the Gallery this week scouting out some creations using {Ippity} that caught my eye and I wanted to share them with you!  So get ready to feast your eyes on some {Ippity} Eye Candy!!

This Beauty using the Devoted set was made by the first official {Ippity} Chick!! Cindy Coutts didn't waste any time ordering her stamps or in getting her {Ippity} into the Gallery!

 {Ippity}stamp designer Heather Rolin proves to us with this beauty using the Simply Home set that her talents go beyond just designing stamps.  She knows how to use those stamps too!!  Love it Heather!!

Jennifer Taylor has created this beautiful card that uses the Devoted stamp set.  I love the contrasting colors she chose that perfectly accent her card!!  Her color pallette comes from the paper collection that came with the collection.

 

Using wonderfully warm and rustic colors, Emily Niehaus has created this gorgeous card using the snowman and sentiment from the Kissmas & Mistletoe set.  I love all the distressing!

Robyn Leonard used the Kissmas & Mistletoe set to create this special card that is perfect to give a loved one this holiday season.  She also uses some of the papers that came in the collection with the purchase of the full set.

This card is just wonderful in many ways! Maria Gurnsey has added such warmth in her colors and produced a very balanced card using the Because of You set for the flower, and the Just Wanted to Say set for the sentiment.  This will definitely make someone's birthday very happy!!

And last but certainly not least Lisa Henke has given such an eyeful in this inspirational creation that uses the Devoted set and some of the papers too.  What awesome fall colors!!
