Where You Should Be

Hello and welcome to the {ippity} blog this fine Tuesday morning on the first day of March!  We are taking a break from our regularly scheduled Tuesday {ippity} Blossom post, just for this week, so no worries.  This gave me some time to think about what to share with you today and as I was going through my card stash I found this one I made back in the summer during my Dirty Dozen stint on Splitcoast.
I thought it tied in with the fabric theme post I did last week, then I decided to focus on just this set! It's one of my faves and I know the quote it one of Angela's FAVES!!! It is just great words to live by. So today, we're taking a look back at Where You Should Be!

If you don't own this set yet, find an {ippity} Chick and order it! Just click this button to see who's selling in your area!

Fresh Idea Friday - Printer's Tray

YAY Friday....my second favorite day after Thursday :)

Do you have any plans this weekend??? I have family coming over on Sunday so I'm busy getting ready here. World Card Making Day is tomorrow so be prepared for LOTS of {ippity} and Unity FUN!!!!

Check out this blinkie {Lisa A.} made for us:That's my kind of math :)
Make sure you come by the {Challenge Forum} tomorrow for a complete list of challenges....and PRIZES :)

So how about my Friday project.
I've had this Printers Tray done for a month now and it's proudly displayed in my living room. I've been wanting one of these for awhile and finally broke down and bought one. So glad I did...such a cute keepsake idea.
Here are a few close up shots:The branch below is from the {ippity} set {Devoted}. I stamped it right on the cork and just cut it out. I glued on a little flower and I think it made a cute subtle embellishment. The background is the {Thoughts From The Past} stamp.
Here I used the sets {Where You Should Be} and {Totally Happy}
I cut the bottom half of the You are right where you should be sentiment out and added the metal alpha's to complete it. The flowers were stamped right on cork again....I really love that stuff :)
These Printers Trays are fun for scrapbookers and yes even cardmakers. The opening are ATC (Artist Trading Card) size so completely cardmaker friendly.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget about the fun challenges tomorrow :) You will have two weeks to complete them so break out that {ippity} and give them a go :)
Happy weekend!!

Fresh Idea Friday - Clear Embossing

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Maria here today...I get to bring you this week's Fresh Idea post.

I can't lie....I had NO IDEA what to do for today's post. My schedule has been all out of whack since the kids have been out of school and my craft time has been very sporadic. To say the least...my mojo was gone :(

I have a few ways to jumpstart my creativity:
1. My favorite color combo :)
2. Try something new (or at least something I don't do often)
It's been forever since I used my heat gun so I decided to do a little heat embossing. I stamped the branches from
{Where You Should Be}
and embossed them with clear embossing powder along the right side of my card.
There are a lot of great {ippity} images for this!!
Since the design was so pretty I didn't want to take away from it so I attempted a CAS (Clean and Simple) card....another style I don't do often. The Lisa's are AMAZING at CAS designs and I am always inspired to try it.
I don't think my design is quite as stunning as theirs are but it DID spark my mojo and I have been crafting ever since :)

Sunday Favs- March 14th edition

Hi everyone! Michelle here to share my Sunday Ippity Favorite cards! Each week the Ippity Gallery on SCS grows and it's amazing to be a small part of the Ippity family!

Here are my favs from this last week:

First up, Teresa aka: va.sunshine. This card uses one of the sentiments from Devoted. The colors are fresh, the lace and ribbon combo is divine with the perfect amount of distressing. Oh and did I mention the HOUNDS TOOTH heart?!?
Next is Emily aka: Stampingout. This card uses the bunny and cloud images from Sweet Thoughts of Spring. Happy spring is right!! This card makes me smile with its fun use of embossed hot pink and bright happy blue clouds! Isn't this one adorable by Lynn, aka: Briarthyme? She also uses Sweet Thoughts of Spring. What a CLEVER use of stitching for the sun rays and I just love bright sun with the cloud outlines! HAPPY card for sure! This soft, lovely and whimsical beauty is from Avery, aka: Avery123. The card uses the fabulous sentiment, and 2 images from Where You Should Be. I LOVE the soft color combo with a simple piece of stitched grosgrain accented with a trio of brads!
Next up we have a CAS card from Bonnie, aka: BonnieRose. She uses a sentiment from Life's Little Moments. I love how simple and whimsical this is. Just shows you, less IS sometimes more!!
And last, but certainly not least we have a fav of mine from the Design team - Lisa, aka: lisahenke. This card uses What Matters Most. I LOVE how she pieced and cut out butterfly trail image. Everything perfectly coordinates with the amazing Quite Contrary paper from MME! AND, what? The double bow/burlap string is perfection!!
Well that's it for me! Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day everyone!

Fresh Idea Friday-tacky to terrific!

Good morning {ippity} peeps! So is everyone still riding high from the new release????? I sure am. I can't put down these stamps....that's good thing, right?!!! Thanks for a fun week and all the amazing support from you all.
So, am I the only person who buys a planner 2 months into the new year??? What was I thinking, believing I could get along without one in my purse???? On the hunt for something cute and petite, I realized NO ONE had planners or pocket calenders left in stock. I did find this one at the $1 store, but I hated the cover. Thanks to this fabulous craft/hobby, and all my new stamps still calling my name, I said, "DUH! I can make it waaaay cuter!" and that's what I did. So my planner goes from Tacky to Terrific in just a short 30 minutes.
Probably NO shocker that I used Where You Should Be for this. It's been such a HOT seller and I just ♥ ADORE IT!!! Contact your {ippity} Chick to get your hands on it. Paper is Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket. I made the dp even cuter, by stamping those leaves in Momento rich cocoa ink. Since I had to keep everything flat and not use a ton of layers, the sentiment was stamped in the same ink and highlighted with some Copics on a kraft blossoms die cute piece. I even stamped up the back of the planner. Just stamped and colored in some of the leaves with Copics.
The whole thing is wrapped up and protected with a little plastic cover.
Give it ago, customize something in your purse or home today-a planner, a checkbook cover, a journal. It's fun and now I have something terrific to carry around with me.

Just a friendly reminder: Clean your acrylic blocks, today, if they're dirty. You'll be amazed at how well they hold the stamps, again! Yep, learned that one from experience yesterday!

Hugs, Lisa
