Flatterday Saturday

Welcome to another FABULOUS edition of
Flatterday Saturday!!
Michelle Ogdahl posted a list with some of the TOP {ippity} chicks in recruiting and sales the other day {CLICK HERE to see the post} and we thought it would be FUN to feature one of our TOP SALES CHICKS!!
How about a big CONGRATS to {Andrea Cloutier} for her OUTSTANDING sales!!
Tell us a little about yourself. {Family, location, background, job, kids, etc.}
I’m originally from the Northeastern US, growing up in Maine on a farm (yes, I know how to milk a cow!) then moving to Western Massachusetts for high school and college. I took a trip to Key West over one spring break and totally loved it! So, the second day after graduating from college, I packed my car and drove to South Florida with my 2 cats! I waitressed until I found a job 3 months later using what I had gone to college for - Mechanical Engineering. Here I am, living in the Sunshine State 20 years later with the love of my life Phil, 2 cats and the warmth! My day job is still engineering which keeps my finger on technology and I craft whenever I can.
How did you first get involved in stamping?
It was around 1997 and I attended a Stampin’ Up! Party/class. I was hooked!
What is your stamping style?
Ohhhh, that’s a tough one. I go simple at times, but I love to layer and embellish. I love to heat emboss – not sure if that would be considered a style!
Tell us about your creative process.
I frequently use sketches as a starting point. From there, who knows where it goes!
What is your favorite {ippity} stamp set and why?
I love Fishy Philosophy! What’s funny is that I haven’t even used it yet! I love the design of every image in the set and it “goes” with where I live by the ocean.
How often do you stamp?
As much as I can. It usually works out to at least 4 days a week for at least a little time.
How long does it take you to make a project you are happy with? It varies. Sometimes I see it in my head and it comes out even better in a short time! Other times I need to let it sit overnight before I finish it off to where I’m happy with it.
Check out this HAPPY project Andrea made using {Unity Stamps}
What does your craft room look like? {messy, clean, etc.}
I’m so proud of myself! I usually clean up after every project, but I just got some new storage containers that really helped tidy up my whole area.
What is your biggest paper crafting challenge?
Taking pictures of my projects so that they look fab!
What is the name of your Ippity Sales Blog?
http://andreasstamps.com/
What made you decide to start selling Ippity?
The little voice in my head that said I would be sorry if I didn’t!
Tell us about your experience selling Ippity!
I’ve had a great time spreading the word about it and showing the versatility of the sets. My enthusiasm for the product really comes across which helps potential customers try at least one set. They’re hooked after that!
What song best describes you?
There’s not just one :)
If you were stranded on a desert island what are the three things you would bring?
The book “Surviving on a desert island for Dummies”, solar-powered Sirius/XM radio with killer antenna and my boyfriend.
What is your favorite quote? “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” -- Audrey Hepburn
What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
Bottles of water, Atkins shakes and cheese!
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? I was a huge fan of Wonder Woman, so…that golden lasso of truth would be my pick (along with those killer boots!).
What would your dream vacation be?
I love the tropics, Tahiti maybe?
How about another project?? Andrea made this card using {Simply Home} and {Straight from the Heart}
THANKS Andrea!!
