That's How Thursday!

Hi Ladies, Happy "That's How Thursday!" to you!  Today I am going to show you some playtime with some yummy products that I have been playing with a little more lately.  If you stop by my blog pretty regularly, you have seen me using Luminarte products by Creative Imaginations and I am here to share with you today a pretty Christmas card made with it.

What I love about this product, and they have three types of products, the Twinkling H2O's, the Radiant Rain Shimmer Mist and the Radiant Rain Color Concentrate, which is a dauber.

Twinkling H2O's you apply with a water color brush, the Radiant Rain Shimmer Mist you spray on your project direct and the Radiant Rain Color Concentrate is a dauber as I said above, so it has a sponge applicator built in on the top, which I LOVE!!!  First let me show you the card I created and I will walk you through how to use the Luminarte products on it.

And here is the step by step on how I used the Luminarte products on it. First of all, you gather the following items shown on the picture below.  For my card I used Music of My Heart and Kissmas and Mistletoe sets.

You will need clear and brown embossing powders and of course to emboss you need Versamark pad.  I used two Radiant Rain Color Concentrates:  Egyptian Gold and Hot Cinnamon and I also used Olive Vine Twinkling H2O's.

First you need to emboss the music sheet stamp on white card stock using brown embossing powder.

Than you just start rubbing the Egyptian Gold dauber all over your paper.

It has so much mica powder, it's really gorgeous.  I tried to take a good photo of it, so you could see the shimmer of it.  Hope you can.....

Than you clear emboss your sentiment on a label, which I cut out with my Silhouette.

And rub the Hot Cinnamon Color Concentrate all over it  and paint on some of the Olive Vine Twinkling H2O's so the sentiment will resist it.  It looks so beautiful, in fact it really looks so rich, just like velvet.

And you just put your card together and here is a close up of the main image of the card.  I even added some Hot Cinnamon to my Prima flower to make it look richer and I think it's justs gorgeous.  I used Bo Bunny papers to make my card with, in case you are wondering.

So, what do you think????  By the way I used today's Hip Hop sketch to create this card, it sure is a pretty one.  Hope you enjoyed this little tutorial and finally it's time for the Hippity Hop day comment winner.  I picked the winner randomly and you win STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART Ippity stamp set!
