Flatterday

Let's say hello to our featured {ippity} chick

We asked Lisa to share a little bit about herself:

I'm in Lansing, Michigan, and I work in IT security....a far cry from the creative end of things! :) My 2 legged kids are grown and out of the house, and I've been doing dog rescue for about 11 years. Usually, the house is full with an assortment of schnauzers, shih tzus, and 'lil furry types.

How did you first get involved in stamping?
In 2000ish, a friend invited me to a Creative Memories party. About a year later, I was invited to a Stampin' Up party, and it was all downhill from there! LOL!

What is your stamping style?
It changes. Sometimes it's very clean and simple, sometimes distressed, and I have a significant Copic addiction - I love to color!

Tell us about your creative process.
I usually start with a theme - do I wanna do a birthday card, a scrapbook page, etc. Start with the paper, spread it all over the table, and lay stamps and embellishments on it. Eventually, it will all pull together.

What is your favorite {ippity} stamp set and why?
Wow. Just one? I have several favorites, but my most used is probably Just Wanted to Say....those 'lil sentiments are SO handy, and go with anything! Cuppy Cakes would be a close second - back to that Copic addiction!

How often do you stamp?
Multiple times a week. Daily if I can squeeze it, but usually at least 2-3 times.

How long does it take you to make a project you are happy with?
Depending on mojo, anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 days! LOL!

What does your craft room look like?
{messy, clean, etc.} It usually looks like it's in need of a backhoe. I'll get it cleaned up, and start working - I'm a very messy creator, so in short order it's back to chaos.

What is your biggest paper crafting challenge?
Time, and perfectionism. I'll stop if it doesn't look like the image in my head, and pick it up again later.

What is the name of your Ippity Sales Blog?

What made you decide to start selling Ippity?
Encouragement from a few friends, and the stamps "speak" to me. I have to be able to see what I can do with them, in my head, to enjoy them.

Tell us about your experience selling Ippity.
I'm fairly new, and it's a slow start, but I like meeting people who love the stamps as much as I do!!

What song best describes you?
Hmmm. My sigline, for a long time at my old job, was...Defy Gravity!

If you were stranded on a desert island what are the three things you would bring?
My laptop, diet coke, and my furballs! :)

What is your favorite quote?
Be the change you want to see in the world...

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
Diet coke. Leftovers. And caramel cashew ice cream in the freezer.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
The ability to slow down time....

If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be? Confessions of a computer chick!

What would your dream vacation be?
Cancun, beach, beach chair, book, daiquiri. :)

Thanks for having me! :)

Thank you Lisa for sharing your fabulous projects and a little bit about you today!!!
