Happy Sunday to all of you!!!
It's Kelly here and I have the pleasure of perusing the Ippity Gallery at Splitcoaststampers.com and picking out my favorite creations for the week!! While it is a fun job, it is also a very hard job!! I always have a hard time narrowing my selections down!! I want to pick them ALL!! :-)
So, let's get started right away!
I chose this one as my first pick because this is one of the submissions for my IHHC39 challenge with a Back To School theme this week. Have you submitted yours yet? Lynn made this card for her daughter in college. She used the beautiful Echo Park paper in our Summer release, and also the Books a Flutter stamp, the blocks from A Moment in Time and the sentiment is from Fall For You! Love it Lynn!!
This super cute Halloween card was made by Julie using the That's Creepy stamp set. I love the distressing, layers and cute border punch that completes this spooky card!! Some of you might remember that I just love making Halloween cards!! This set is perfect for that!!
And look what a clever idea Ginny had! She stamped the mushrooms from the Because of You stamp set right on to a Onesie!! She then colored them in with her Copics and recommends heat setting it afterwards by placing it in the dryer for about 5 minutes! Thanks for the inspiration and the tip Ginny!! This is adorable!!
Check out all the fabulous Ippity stamps on this gorgeous card!! Kelly Spivey made this beauty which includes Thoughts from the Past, Book It, You Deserve, A Moment in Time and Love in Return!! Wow, that's a lot of Ippity into one card and it just goes to show how versatile and complementary our stamp images are with one another!! This is awesome!!
I fell in love with the colors and background technique of this card!! Carole used the Fishy Philosophy stamp set and created the salted background from a VSN challenge. The fish has Twinkling H2O's on it to make it sparkle like it does. It totally looks like lake water with algae and seaweed!! It's a wonderful technique to try!!
I almost squealed when I saw this gorgeous creation from Angela this week. She also had two layouts that I loved.. you can see them HERE and HERE!! I had a hard time picking out my favorite one of her submissions this week! But since I have recently given in to my love of red, white and blue cards (thanks to Maria,) I decided to choose this one! This is one fabulously happy card created with stamps from the Quotes a la Happy stamp set! What super coloring and layout!!
I also fell out over this beautiful vintage looking card made by Martha! I love all the details, colors and intricacies of this one!! She used the sentiment from Just Wanted to Say and if I am correct she also used a small piece of the frame stamp from the Love in Return set to adorn the bottom of the sentiment label! It looks great, that I know for sure!!
And finally I chose a cute layout from Angie our Guest Designer extraordinaire to share with you today. I wanted to make sure that you saw this beauty. I LOVE all those houses that she stamped on her paper to create her own background and Designer Paper out of Kraft! She used houses from Simply Home, Devoted, Delightful Little Things and House a Home!! It's amazing...She really rocked this layout and even added some of our Echo Park paper from the Summer collection!! Thanks Angie!!
Well that's all I have to share with you this week! Keep 'em coming ladies!!
Your talents are amazing and so inspiring to all of us!
Enjoy the rest of your Holiday weekend! Big Hugs to all of you!!!
