It'sT{ippity} Tuesday!!!

Hello, hello!!!  It's Eva typing away....Hope you  had a fun Blog Hop yesterday!  I certainly had a great time visiting all the blog hop participants blogs and seeing all the {ippity} eye candy!!!  And I am so looking forward to the future hops!!!  I love to be inspired, and I sure was!  Thank you ladies for all the pretty projects you had to share!

Well, since it's Tuesday, I thought I would share a little tip with you about how I color my {ippity} stamps. First I stamp my image with either Stazon, or Memories, as they will not smudge.  Than I use a waterbrush to pick up my ink and most of my images are painted in with Ranger Distress inks, but I also use Stampin Up inks and Pallette, so I am not really discriminative.  It really just depends on the colors I need.  So, what waterbrush I use, you may ask?  I use the Zig Watercolor System called BrusH20.  It's really fun, as it has a little water tank you fill with water and just squeeze as needed to make the brush wet.  I have been using this method for years now, and I love it and highly recommend it. Here is what the brush looks like.

I thought I would share one of my cards with you as a sample.  You have seen this card already, but now  you know how I colored the image.

It's easy and you can do shading with it, too.  So, that is my little {ippity} tip for you today.  Hope it inspires you somewhat and I get to see some of your creations using this method.  It's inexpensive and affective as you can see.  So now it's your turn, how do YOU color your images???  What is your method???  Hope you share...

And today I leave you with this quote.

Have a FABULOUS {ippity} day!

  3. Thanks for sharing, Eva;) I don't know if this counts....but I like to paper piece some of my stamps. I stamp it several times on different papers....then put it together. I also use watercolor pencils, chalks, pigment inks/dust/etc. TFS!

  5. I love using distress inks and water color pencils, and have started trying Copics after a dear friend of mine let me play with her markers.

    Your card is gorgeous Eva!
