{ippity matters} by Michelle

I would like to take this time to wish ALL of YOU a very Merry Christmas.

These are the things that TRULY MATTER to loving and supportive husband, my two amazing boys, my family, my friends, good health, an amazing job with Unity and {ippity}, a warm home to live in, food to eat, the people that are risking their lives to defend our country, my freedom and my faith.  These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for during this Holiday Season.  What are YOU thankful for...what MATTERS to you?  I encourage you to take the time to share these things with the people in YOUR life :)

If you live in Minnesota, you already know that we are expecting a Winter Blizzard over the next couple of days.  This throws a curve-ball in lots of people's Christmas plans...including mine.  We were planning on traveling 2 hours to spend Christmas with my parents, sisters and other extended family.  I was SO EXCITED and looking forward to this.  Sometimes in life, things happen that are out of our control.  I am a TRUE BELIEVER that EVERYTHING in life happens for a reason.  It is up to each of us to make the best of every situation (can you tell I am trying to convince myself of this.)  I decided, since I can't stop a blizzard, I need to ENJOY this time with my family and celebrate Christmas just a little bit differently.  I plan on sipping Hot Chocolate, playing board games, watching all of the Holiday Classics on TV, laughing as much as possible and having FUN with my family.

During this Christmas season, make new memories that you will be able to cherish for years to come!

  1. Merry Christmas everyone and hope you all have a fun and safe Holiday! Michelle, I know what you mean...but totally agree that things happen for a reason, I just wish this time they happened 2 days later! LOL...Super big hugs!

  2. stay safe and warm, Michelle!I love your attitude, it makes all the difference! You'll get Christmas with your extended family, it will just be a different day!
