Fresh Idea Friday - Crinkled Roses

Hi there my sweet ippity friends!  Karen here to share with you my FRESH IDEA of creating beautiful crinkled roses to accompany those fabulous {ippity} stamps!!

You may have seen the wonderful effects that you can achieve by misting your own seam binding with Glimmer Mist to make gorgeous color ribbons to use on your projects...you agree?   Well...I thought I would take it a step further and share this FRESH IDEA to use that crinkled seam binding ribbon to CREATE your very own UNIQUE and FABULOUS CRINKLED ROSES!!

After I made one big beautiful rose, I thought...I can not stop there! So, I made two smaller crinkled rosettes to accompany the big crinkled rose!  Now doesn't this make for a lovely bouquet displayed by those gorgeous {ippity} leaves that come in the NEW SPRING "Now & Always" {ippity} stamp set?    And, if you are wondering..'cause I know you are..he he hee..that sweet sentiment is from the {ippity} "Love in Return" stamp set!   Not to mention, I had to throw in some beautiful October Afternoon designer papers onto my card to compliment all the goodies on this card!!

Now, DON'T LIMIT YOURELF...GET A LITTLE DARING..you might like the effects of mixing different colors of Glimmer Mist on your seam binding to achieve a variegated look that become your very own individualized ROSESNo two will be the same!  You can really make these crinkled roses COME TO LIFE!!  The big rose especially shows the multiple colors I've used.

Details - "Measured Moments" Card
