Fresh Idea Friday

Hi Everyone..hope you had a great time with the Hip Hop yesterday!!!  Please scroll down below this post to see the winner of our blog candy from yesterday!!!  I know you want to see if you won, right??? LOL

Anyway, today I am sharing a card and I thought I would create a card with circle elements.  I have seen lately circles that have been sewn together as a gift wrapper, which I thought, WOW, what a fabulous idea.  So that is where my card idea came from.  But really, in my mind, you can really do this with any repetitive shape and could be pretty cool.

For now, here is my card.

So, as you can see, I stamped my music sheet image on a cream color cardstock and punched circles out of it  both small and larger size (for this I used a very old tool, a Creative Memories double size circle punch, that was just perfect), but you could use nesties as well, or whatever circle punches you have.

Then I punched a few circles of October Afternoon papers as well and glued them on some of the circles and adhered all those in a border format on my card, and just stitched through it all with my machine.  And that is about all circles.  Pretty cool affect isn't it???  And so simple!

In case you are wondering what that doily is, it's a Silhouette cutting file, just FYI..hehehe.

Well, that is all about my little quick fresh idea for the day, hope it does inspire you in some ways!  I hope you visit out blog tomorrow, as we are going to have a very EXCITING announcement and are you ready for the sneak peeks rolling in starting Sunday????  Boy, wait till you see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can hardly contain my excitement!!!!  Our new release is AMAZING and our DT's samples are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!  I guess that is enough tease for now...hehehe.

Have a fabulous day!!!
