Tell us a little about yourself!!!
. { Family, location, background, job, kids, etc.}
I am an IT Project manager by profession, but artist and papercrafter by heart. I am originally from India, but have settled in US from a long time.I am married to a wonderful man for 11 years now. I live in the Lone Starstate of Texas, love the weather, people and place it self. I love animals, although we do not have a pet right now, maybe some time later.
How Did You First Get Involved In Stamping?
I got involved in stamping because of a friend who was Creative Memories Demonstrator. I attended one of her demo’ s just for fun and Igot totally hooked on to the stamping from then.
What Is Your Stamping Style?
I am still trying to figure it out, It seems to keep changing. If I had to pick one, I would say Clean and Simple – that is the one I am leaning towards now a days.
Tell Us About Your Creative Process
My creative process is mostly kick started due to a sketch or color or sometimes even a stamp set. I get inspired by seeing other cards out there. There are times when Nature has been my inspiration. I normally try to write down my ideas when get them and that way when I get time to craft,I am on the go.
What Is Your Favorite Ippity Stamp Set and Why??
Because of You Now and Always. Somehow these images and font and sentiments in these stamp sets speak out to me and I end up using them more often than the other stamps
How Often Do You Stamp?
I try to stamp daily, but the daily life gets in the way and then I have to be content with weekends.
How Long Does It Take You To make A Project You Are Happy With?
It depends, the quickest I have made a card lately has been 15 minutes and the longest has been days!!. I am trying to concentrate on quality rather than quantity, that is making me take more time with my projects, which is a good thing
What Does You Craft Room look Like (Clean ,messy)?
Messy for sure. I try to put away things after working on projects or in between projects, but it ends up being messy again.
What Is Your Biggest Crafting Challenge and Why???
I would pick a few – first one is embossing – I know it is simple, but somehow I can never seem to get it done well, I always feel like it is not good enough and the 2nd one is modge podge…I have major issues with using it!!! Maybe another try will help it.
What Is The name Of Your Ippity sales Blog??
http://stampingwithpassion.blogspot.com/p/ippity-stamps-for-sale.html
What Made You Decide To Start Selling Ippity?
I came to know about Ippity from JenMarie’ s blog and really loved her samples and she had put a note about how we could be ippity chicks. But the major selling point was the stamp images themselves. They were totally cool and I knew I would love using them. After I got my firstorder of Ippity stamps, I was totally sold by the quality as well. That is what makes it fun to sell them, cuz I love them so much.
Tell Us You Experience In Selling Ippity Stamps
It has been a fun experience so far, all but not an easy one. Many have cutdown their stamping budget etc, so I have to think creatively and out of the box to get the sales. But some things that have kept me going are – the awesome quality and cool images of ippity – they are very unique, great customer service and the last but not least – BIGGEST support group. I mean the ippity chicks are just amazing and it is very easy to get inspired and motivated from them.
