Only 10 more days until the New Release!!! Woohoo!!
So on with today's Fresh Idea for you!!
I made a Flip Book to use as a reference for my stamp sets!
I consider myself an organizer and love for things to have their place and be in order. I have a system in place for organizing my stamps and it might be a bit different from yours. I remove my {ippity} stamps from their original chipboard packaging and store them in CD holders. The smaller sets fit into one CD case and the larger ones require two!
Because of my system, the packaging is no longer with the stamp sets so I can't see at a glance what stamps each set contains. So I decided to create a flip book that has a small picture of each set in it that I can keep near my CD cases filled with {ippity} for easy reference!
To make this I used the third from the smallest Nestability Label Eight and cut out the front and back covers from recycled {ippity} packaging! That is why it is brown! I then cut the next size smaller Nestie onto coordinating DP. The paper I chose was from the BG Mellow collection paper pad.
I stamped the Snippity of ippity hollow frame and the title onto coordinating CS and then cut it out and colored in the butterfly using my Copic markers. I adhered the label onto my cover and decorated it with some Prima and Making Memories flowers and added a ribbon from American Crafts! It was super easy to make!
To make the interior pages, I saved the images of the kits from the {ippity} Chicks site and printed them out onto CS so they would fit inside the covers. The approximate size of the booklet is 2 3/4 x 4 inches. The booklet is held together with a ring binder that I can enlarge as my collection does!
So now when I want to make a card or project using my {ippity} stamps, I just have to leaf through my Flip Book until I find the stamp that most inspires me. It is much easier for me to use my Flip Book than to glance at each CD case or even pull up the pictures on the website!
I hope you like it and might find it to be helpful for you too!
Leave a comment and let us know how you like to organize your {ippity} stamps!
Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!! For some more Unity inspiration, be sure to hop along on today's Friend's with Flair celebration happening over at the Unity blog!!
