Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I have a fresh idea for you...
SEW ON YOUR CARDS
What? You already sew on your cards? Well then you are ON TREND and you GO GIRL! You don't? Well, it's never too late to start, bust out that sewing machine pronto! According to CARDS Magazine, it's one of the hottest trends around right now.
Check out some fun ideas to sewing on your cards.
From our lovely Kelly: This card uses embroidery stitching with an embroidery needle and thread. What I love about this technique is you can EASILY change the color of your thread to match your card.

Great ways to use stitching. All the ideas and cards are just amazing!
ReplyDeletenow if I could actually find my sewing machine under all the paper and stamps I would be joining you!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww...you picked my card to share as well??? How sweet!!!! I love to stitch on my cards, it just adds so much to it! Your cards are yummy, but they always are!!!
ReplyDeleteThey all look great... sadly. I don't hv a sewing machine, never learned.. OH well.. I'll still create in my own way.. LOL but u go girls.. all these look AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteFab Michelle. Stitching gives such great texture and I LOVE all three cards :)

I love how they look, I'm just sewing machine challenged. I've had issues with having the stitches too close and tearing the paper, etc. So, if you don't do it very often, maybe a little practice before you experiment on a project! Advise from someone who learned the hard way! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cards to showcase! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love sewing on my cards Michelle. I am happy to know it is the in thing according to CARDS magazine. Sewing is something that has been done by three generations of women in my family. I think I need to teach my girls! ACK!!! Thanks for sharing one of my cards! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas Michelle! I keep thinking that I should get my sewing machine serviced so I could try stitching on my cards, but haven't done it yet...hopefully, I'll get this task done soon!
