Fresh Idea Friday!!

It's Fresh Friday and a New Year!! Today, I'm sharing how I've incorporated Glimmer Glaze, Glimmer Mists & Glimmer Chips along with my {ippity} stamps on this Valentine's Day card for a Fresh look!

These are all the {ippity} stamps that I used today:

"Devoted" - heart stamp
"How You Doin'?" - 'sentiment stamp
"Thoughts from the Past" - postcard stamp
"Gurnsey Ginham" - gingham stamp

The top half of the card is actually ivory cardstock that I mist with "Sage "& "Silver Bells" & spritzed with "Brick" glimmer mists. Then, I took my {ippity} Gurnsey Gingham stamp and stamped onto the misted cardstock, once it dried, with blue ink.  Love the way you can create beautiful, slightly muted, and glimmery background paper!

My {ippity} postcard was stamped onto designer paper, and then I added "Safron" glaze to the edge. The border scalloped punch was first spritzed with "Brick" & "Tattered Rose"..as well as the heart! The outer edges of the {ippity} heart were glazed with 'Flirty" & "Safron"! Lastly, I added those tiny little pearls for texture.

The center of the card embellishment that is underneath the flower is a Glimmer Chip that I mist with "Silver Bells" & "Sage", which adds the slightest sparkle in real life to match the blue print in the bottom half designer paper! The beautiful flower has been glazed with "Flirty". First I dried it with the heat gun, and it actually stiffens..which I really love! It makes the flower appear like it's a FRESH bloom!

Then, my little Spellbinder die tag has been glazed with "Safron", stamped with the {ippity} sentiment, and I added a couple of "x's" with some DMC floss for a little texture and tied some string through the tag!

So..what do you think? Would you like to try and add some Glimmer and Glaze to your {ippity} projects? I had a ball mixing {ippity}, glimmer, and glaze..and hope you will give this a try!!

Have a FUN FRIDAY!!
