That's How Thursday!

Did you have fun Hip Hopping along!!!
You have reached the end of the hop, but I have one last project and tutorial to share.

I recently learned how to make this accordion fold flower and couldn't wait to share with you how.  It is super easy but a bit bulky, so don't expect to be able to mail this card out!  :)

I used the Ippity Winter 2010 paper pack, Simple Things and Now & Always stamp sets in this card.  I cut out the center of one of the Now & Always flowers to layer on the folded flower and topped it with a button.  The stamped flourish and saying is embossed in white to help it pop!  I'm looking at the photo and I can't believe I didn't round the corners on this card!!!  Total shocker and I'm thinking it might really need it.  Don't tell anyone, but I might just have to add some before I give it away! :)

I'll show you how to make this accordion fold flower in the video below.  Here is the supply list to make the same sized flower in my card (about 3.5 inches).
  • (2) strips of patterned paper or cardstock (1.5 inches x 12 inches)
  • (2) circles of cardstock (1 to 1.5 inches round)
  • strong, quick drying glue (I used Fabri-Tac)
Part 1:  How to make an accordion fold flower.

Part 2: Create a Card video using the flower.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
